Alice Coffey

FLUTE TECHNICIAN

Alice Coffey is a qualified jeweller and gemologist, and worked in that industry from 2001 until 2022.

In 2020, she began training in flute repair and servicing under the guidance of Jim Phelan (of Burkart-Phelan Flutes) through Flutes & Flutists. She now repairs and services flutes full time from her Lower Blue Mountains studio.

In her spare time, she teaches flute and is involved with the Blackheath Chamber Music Festival as Secretary, and webmaster/media manager. She is currently working towards her AMus. in flute performance.
