Welcome to FF FIDELITY, a FREE membership program designed to offer flute teachers and their students unparalleled access to our extensive range of the world's finest flutes, and to ensure that they receive the best possible service and support during and long after purchasing.

Australia is a vast country, defined by the challenges of distance but with a thriving, dedicated and essential network of music teachers and students. We have always done our best to ensure that every corner is looked after, however, time and resources are finite. That's why we created FF FIDELITY, in the hope that every flute teacher and their students, no matter where they are, can access the best instruments that the world has to offer, right on their doorsteps, because we believe that having the perfect instrument will make all the difference in helping the player express every nuance, colour and desire within them.

FF FIDELITY has two types of memberships - ADVISER and AFFILIATE (both of which are free to join). The benefits to both the teacher and their students include:

  1. Free return shipping of instruments to teachers for all trials (using our nominated freight service). Instruments will be fully disinfected before shipping and upon return, and we will also provide alcohol swabs within each shipment.

  2. All instruments sent to and received from teachers, will be covered by our transit insurance, provided you comply with our conditions.

  3. An extended 7-day trial (normally 3 days).

  4. Complimentary Clean, Oil & Adjustment (COA) and unlimited Checkups & Adjustments for an extended 18-months on all new flute purchases (normally 12 months).

  5. 15% off all Sheet Music and Accessories from Syrinx Music, and 15% off all Sheet Music and Accessories from Blow Woodwind & Brass.

  6. Access to special promotions offered only to members.

  7. [AFFILIATE MEMBERS ONLY] A Consultation Fee will be paid directly to you when your student purchases a flute. The student needs to be informed of this from the beginning and it will be noted on their Tax Invoice.

The Consultation Fee is available to any teacher who signs up to become an AFFILIATE Member. Many teachers spend considerable time researching, listening to and advising their students on the right flute, not to mention going through the process of organising shipments to and from us. We believe that they deserve to be fairly compensated for their time, with the more advanced students generally requiring more attention, so we have created a tiered Payment Structure to reflect this.

When a Flute or Piccolo Headjoint is purchased individually, the Consultation Fee is half of the value of their full instrument counterpart.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

  1. FLUTES & FLUTISTS may need to alter the terms of this agreement at any time without prior notice. The Member will not hold FLUTES & FLUTISTS responsible, legally or financially, for any misunderstandings that may arise from this contract. Every reasonable measure will be made to communicate to the Member in a timely manner should this be necessary.

  2. Only residents of Australia are eligible to apply to become a member of FF FIDELITY.

  3. FF FIDELITY has two streams of membership: “ADVISER” where no Consultation Fee is paid; and “AFFILIATE” where a Consultation Fee is paid to the Member.

  4. AFFILIATES will receive a Consultation Fee (see Payment Structure above) for every eligible flute sold through the FF FIDELITY programme. Eligible sales will meet all of the following requirements:

    1. Instrument rentals, pre-owned instruments, repairs, sheet music, and accessories do not qualify for a consultation fee.

    2. Only the sale price of the purchased instrument - after any applicable discounts or promotions - will be used to calculate the consultation fee.

    3. It is a condition that the Member advises the purchaser in advance when a consultation fee is to be paid.

    4. The consultation fee cannot be transferred to the student, to the sale price of the instrument, or to any third party for any reason.

    5. All invoices must be paid by the purchaser in full before the consultation fee will be paid.

  5. Each Member must choose either ADVISER or AFFILIATE status. The Member can change to the other membership status by giving notice in writing to FLUTES & FLUTISTS. Both types of memberships will receive all the same benefits except for Consultation Fees.

  6. The Member must contact FLUTES & FLUTISTS in advance of the commencement of an instrument trial or purchase, with full contact information of the potential purchaser(s). It is the responsibility of the Member to alert FLUTES & FLUTISTS of an eligible sale prior to any contact between the Purchaser and FLUTES & FLUTISTS.

  7. All personal information will be handled in strict confidence in accordance with FLUTES & FLUTISTS’ privacy rules.

  8. All trials are subject to the terms and agreements of the FF FIDELITY program, with extended trial terms by consultation with FLUTES & FLUTISTS.

  9. The Member will receive free shipping on up to four instruments, for each trial.

  10. The Member agrees to be responsible for complying with any requirements by employers, where they are not permitted to receive any benefit from recommendations they make.

  11. Pre-Owned instruments are sold with our usual 3 Months Warranty only.

  12. The Member agrees to communicate in a timely manner, and reply to all email or texting communications within 24 hours from Mondays to Saturdays.

  13. The Member will update FLUTES & FLUTISTS with all changes to contact information.

  14. The Member agrees at all times to act in a responsible and conscientious manner regarding the care of the instruments supplied; ensuring no scratches or damages occur; proper handling and cleaning are maintained; and the instruments are put back into their cases when not being played.

  15. All instruments sent by FLUTES & FLUTISTS for trial must stay in the possession and control of the Member for the duration of the trial.

  16. All instruments remain the express property of FLUTES & FLUTISTS until invoiced.
