Lisa Cartwright

Lisa has been involved in music education for almost three decades.  She has been a flute teacher both in her own studio and schools around Sydney. She has also been an AMEB Examiner since 2019.

Although working one to one with flute students has been her main focus, she has been a Teaching Artist for The Song Room, a Kindermusik educator and a school band and ensembles director.

She has also held interactive music theory workshops for community organisations, been a choir director, an eisteddfod adjudicator and an audition panellist for UNSW Orchestra and ensemble auditions.

Lisa studied at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and Sydney University, and also later gained qualifications in both counselling and language education.

She has been the Treasurer of the Flute Society of NSW since 2015.
