9K/AG GOLD ON SILVER
Commonly referred to as our 9K/AG material, the exterior of the body and headjoint are 9K gold and the interior is sterling silver. This layered gold tubing is crafted in 0.016″ wall thickness, marrying the best tonal qualities of gold and silver. Rich in aesthetic appeal, the 9K Gold & Silver flute is extremely rewarding to play.
LEGENDARY SOUND
Burkart’s signature sound is robust with a commanding presence and ample projection. The Burkart Scale, a modified-Cooper scale perfected for evenness and stability of pitch, is the cornerstone of all Burkart flutes. High-karat gold solders and contemporary pads enhance stability and beauty of sound.
ERGONOMIC KEY DESIGN
Burkart’s key design offers unmatched comfort and ease. The sculpted curves of the thumb key and lever are angled to reduce left-hand strain and make the slide from B to Bb effortless. The movement from D# to each of the three lowest notes of the flute is easy and fluid.
PRECISION KEYWORK AND ACTION
Cut from solid silver or gold, each Burkart key cup perfectly centres the flute pad, ensuring stability and reliability. White gold springs and felt bumpers allow for a perfectly balanced feel and silent key action.
