THE HAMMIG FAMILY
The Hammig family began producing musical instruments of the highest quality at the end of the 18th century in Saxon, Vogtland. The craftsmanship and production of musical treasures that they were known for have been passed on through the generations and continue today.
The Hammig company began specializing in the manufacture of flutes, piccolos, altos and bass flutes in the beginning of the 20th century. Conscious of more than 200 years tradition the love of music, the deep understanding of musicians and the demand of their instruments is the foundation of our work. Brand names like Philipp Hammig, August Richard Hammig, Johannes Gerhard Hammig reflect it and carry our top quality into the world today.
