The new Vintage model Custom Powell Flute does exactly this. With a modern scale and Straubinger pads, this instrument reclaims the charm of Verne Q. Powell’s era. It features a “hard, thin” tube, a traditional pinned mechanism, smaller arms, and lower posts.
